Narrative Ideas
For my narrative I want to show/convey the aftermath of cancer. The before, during and after. Life after cancer is still very difficult due to the many things the person has to go through in order to get rid of cancer such as chemo, brain radiation, spinal taps etc. These all have consequences and I don't think people are really aware of how it can effect someones life after cancer. I think the way I will navigate this idea is through a series of pictures the convey a feeling using colors and words that surround the individual that hint at what is going on. Before: "that would never happen to me" "life is great", "life seems predictable", etc. During: "Chemo", "brain radiation", "Spinal Taps", "hospitals", etc After/Remission: "PTSD", "toxins from the chemo", "chance of it coming back", "Brain damage", "anemia" etc.
